As many parents are aware we had a huge number of pupils in each class who put themselves forward for the Student Council elections that were held in early part of the school year. Boys create posters, spoke to the class about what they would like to achieve and made it very difficult to select the names to go on the ballot papers!

The whole school enjoyed the secret voting process and Mr. Bergin was delighted to announce that everyone who was on the ballot papers received votes from their classmates. Some of the contests were very close but congratulations to the following boys who will represent their class on the Student Council.

We also wish to thank our outing going Student Council who worked really hard in achieving our Amber Flag last year, most of the boys have remained on to form the Amber Flag Committee with new members from 2nd Class to replace the 6th class who left. We wish them well in the coming year.
