Blue Star Programme

The school completed the Blue Star Programme in 2019, whereby the pupils in senior classes learned about the European Union.

The classes were learning key historical aspects of European history such as World War 1, World War 2 and the life of Anne Frank. Classes visited the World War 1 memorial at John’s Quay.

In Geography, the pupils learned about the formation of the European Union and completed projects on member states. Boys also designed replicas of famous European landmarks such as “The Atomium” in Brussels and “The Leaning Tower of Pisa”

To mark Europe day 2019, the school invited representatives from the Danish Embassy to give a talk to the pupils about life in Denmark.
