Our school choir was initially founded by Mr. Seamus Brennan in 1983. Over the years the various choirs have brought prestige and honour to the school by the high standard of their performances and their conduct both at home and when travelling abroad (Britain, Holland and France).

The choir is now under the guidance of its present conductor, Mrs. Bolger.

Choir is massively popular among the pupils and helps them to improve their confidence and to show their potential. The choir practise during school time.

The choir participates in many events such as communions, confirmations, opening nights and much more. The choir sang at our Information Evening and they also took part in the AIB Goal Mile. The choir sang brilliantly at both events and they also made further appearances at our two Christmas Concerts.

Apart from achieving high standards in choral music the choir places particular emphasis on human development: good behaviour, readiness to help, responsible co-operation and a harmonious climate form the basis of the choir’s educational philosophy.
