Healthy Lunches

It is encouraging to see fruit juice, milk and water replacing fizzy drinks, popcorn as an alternative to crisps and cheese strings and fruit being preferred to chocolate bars. Keep up the good work!!!

Following some observations, listed below are some tips that parents may find useful:


  • Encourage your child to bring a lunch box and to bring home any wrappers, as this would help keep the school yard litter free.
  • To avoid spillages, drinks should be put in a screw cap bottle.
  • Remember the food pyramid-include a variety of foods in his lunch box so that he can look forward to little lunch and big lunch!
